I cannot agree more with what you are saying here. We have prayed, we have loved and we have done what we could to alleviate some of the pain that these people are bearing. Even although we may be weary in body let us not be weary in our Christian commitment to love our neighbour and uphold them in prayer and comfort them in their spirit.
