Friends

One of the great realities of God's provisions for us is in our relationships. We are blessed by our friends. They are gifts from God.

Now consider the expanding number of relationships that occur natuarally when you relocate, change jobs, schools or environments. These oppotunities often are associated with unexpected change in our lives, but they also happen when we make a concious move as well.

Our capacity to love and be loved has the potential to enlarge in these circumstances and fill up our lives even fuller. We can accept these gifts with joy, in any eventuality to the glory of God. Enjoy the changes in your life and grow as a child of God in the process.

John 15:13-15 (ASV)
13 "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
14 Ye are my friends, if ye do the things which I command you.
15 No longer do I call you servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I heard from my Father, I have made known unto you."

Thank you for the chance to share a few thoughts on your message..
"relationship"
How many folk do we contact in a day? Ships passing in the night.. we talk.. we move on.. no one is changed. A "relationship" is so much more.. relation ship ..a vessel that builds "family". A way of journeying. Good friends help us to become more than we could be alone.. and in return we give and support their growth, blessing and blessed..
"potential"
Even growth comes back to choice, to free will. A change can be an opportunity, a challenge but it must be approached with a sense of openess, of reaching out, of looking forward and up with trust and hope and joy. Too many fear change, hold back, creep into it, doubt and instead of growing they lock the world out and shrivel.
Whereever we go.. however long the journey, how dangerous or tedious the way.. The Lord waits for us there.. when the dawn breaks.. when the sun sets..when night falls.. He is constant Companion.. He knows our worth. His plan for us is sure. He will not leave us..

may your journey continue to bless many
