God bless you Jim. When you said we Salvos don't give up until the job is done I believed you. May all those who are experiencing loss be comforted and supported by the Holy Spirit in all of you. And may God be ever present in the work of the Salvation Army and it's people until His return. And may all that would come here for a daily dose of criticism be silenced in this time of grief out of respect for the victims of tragedy

I always include reading Commissioner Knaggs daily word as the sun rises over China, we are three hours behind Australia, and I see it has become a part of my devotions, that’s great.
The Army Jeff is a volunteer organization and as such is under the audit of Jesus, critisism? I ask my father is the Army above gentle comment, my father says, was I my son? If gentle comment offends our brothers then I for one will refrain. What is the accepted? Well "you are a wonderful organization thank God for the Salvos". I feel shamed as someone who has affection for the aims of the Salvation Army that gentle comment about the Salvation Army could be tied with lack of respect for the Australians who lost so much in the fires, I like many other British weep with them, and commend them to our gentle Savior, who does understand.

I don't understand why beijing is criticising Jeff. The army is responding in a large way to help the efforts of the victims of the firess.
