Auxiliary Captains Tim and Lisa Sheehan

Significant in the recent days in Ohio was the ordination and promotion to Aux. Captains Tim and Lisa Sheehan. Commissioner Lawrence Moretz graciously allowed me to represent him as the officiating officer.

Tim and Lisa's journey is uniquely theirs and is covered in the plan and provision of God for people who simply trust Him and act on their faith. Their lives would have been commendable in their roles in the corps and occupations as SA employees. Both of these groups of people are incredibly important to the movement. Tim and Lisa, however, understood a distinct calling from God for officership...and so they are...

Good on ya' Captains. Hallelujah!

1 Thessalonians 5:24 (NIV)
24 The one who calls you is faithful and he will do it.

Why Auxiliary Captains?
I thought that the non-commissioned officer rank was termed 'Envoy'. Now I am confused!

Has The Salvation Army introduced another rank yet again?

I wanna thank you for following Jesus...

Our car broke down yesterday, as a result the damage is costing us the money we had ready for our dentist appoinment. When ever I feel that we are getting closer to college, things are getting in the way.

But 1 Thessalonians 4:24 says The one who calls you is faithgul and He will do it.

Thank you because God has called us and He will get me there

Thanks again Sarah Thompson

Sarah - Now that we're home, Congratulations! We're very happy for you and James.

The enemy certainly doesn't want you to enter the Training College. God is making a way. Hallelujah!

About my good friends, Lisa and Tim - I am so proud of them! It just proves - again - that when we completely give our selves over to Him and His sovereignty over everything under heaven and earth -He will then - open the gates of heaven for us and TO us. It has been a journey for Lisa and Tim - I've watched them through their journey and all I can say is - God Bless them on the continuation of their journey! The best is yet to come! And who better to preside over this special occassion than you guys!! I love them! I love you!
