God has a way

No matter the complication, problem or issue, God has a way through. He leads in brilliance through the darkest possible corridors of our lives and will satisfy our deepest need for clarity, purpose and possibility.

God has a way. You can rely upon Him and gain His perspective with only a little faith. Remember the passage in Scripture that talks about moving mountains? You also will recall that it only takes faith the size of a mustard seed.

Give Him a try. Trust Him. Look to Him and believe. The way forward will become apparent. Oh yeah, then you'll need to do something like follow His lead.

John 14:6 (NIV)
6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

There is Joy in following Jesus ...

I was informed recently of certain protocols that were required to be followed to obtain approval for submissions. The problem was that I followed advice that has since found to be incorrect. I was doing what I was told was correct, to find that it was not, and I bore the reprimand. Through this God gave me opportunity. I could defend myself and place the blame on another, or I could remain quiet and take it on the chin. God challenged me to remain quiet and trust in Him.

I personally desire to be like Christ in my relationship with OTHERS, and so agreed to trust Him. After all, if He was humble enough to go to the Cross of my behalf, surly I could endure a little rebuff, even if I felt it was unwarranted.

When I reconciled to remain quiet and trust Him, I felt a serene joy fill my heart and mind, a joy that has not left me since. God has a way; a way that transcends this world, and confirms that we are eternal beings, represented and loved by One that is interested in us. There are some who believe that God does not have an individual will for each us, that His Sovereign will (sustaining Creator, Preserver and Governor of all things), and his Moral will (scripture) are our guides to finding His will for us. While that is an discussion for another time, I have found that if I trust His moral will, if I search the scripture to seek out WJWD, or how the great (and imperfect) patriarchs and judges of the OT lived, I am able to hear the voice of God whispering to me of His way. A way I choose to follow. It is not about me, it is about others, the Joy in my heart confirms it to be so. To the Glory of God!

A growing saint.
