Last November, a good friend made a promise to me that I fully expected him to keep. He did. Today, he kept his word and delivered his promise in person at my home. Bless the Lord.
We get a lot of promises in the journey. Many of them are not kept for one reason or another. A child is greatly disappointed when an adult can't keep their word. Trust is easily betrayed and difficult to regain.
The Lord is never short in His promises. His closeness, interest and hope for us is guaranteed. We can count on Him. Thank you, Lord.
2 Peter 1:4 (MSG)
4 We were also given absolutely terrific promises to pass on to you—your tickets to participation in the life of God after you turned your back on a world corrupted by lust.

How lovely to be reminded of the importance of promise keeping. May I take this opportunity of praying the blessing of God upon you on this U.S.A. Father's Day as for The Salvation Army in this Territory you are surely God's appointed spiritual "Father" to this great part of the Salvation Army World.
God Bless you today and every day to come!
A.R.L.
