God at Work

Sometimes we wonder where God is. We seemed to have survived the whole "God is dead" thing, although I did hear children sing recently, "God's not dead. No! He is alive." So where or when do you see God at work?

He is at work at every meal you enjoy and for every night you sleep in safe haven. Don't miss Him by the curse of the familiar.

I happen to be rejoicing today for the way He is at work in people. I'm enjoying seeing Him alive and well in the souls of people who love Him and who serve Him with their whole life. Hallelujah!

Can people say that about you?

1 Thessalonians 2:13 (MSG)
13 And now we look back on all this and thank God, an artesian well of thanks! When you got the Message of God we preached, you didn't pass it off as just one more human opinion, but you took it to heart as God's true word to you, which it is, God himself at work in you believers!

I believe people can see God at work in me. Friends and family have told me that they can see Him in new ways as He continues to shape me into His likeness. I feel Him at work, but it is gratifying to know that people can see Him in me.

As always, succinct and relevant! Thank you...

A new blogsite has been created where former SA officers share God at work. All are invited... http://tcspeak.blogspot.com .

Many blessings to all who serve "down under"!

The curse of the familiar - how very right. Your words are concise and caring today, a reminder to be thankful, at all times, for everything.
Have a great day

i saw God at work on saturday afternoon when my 13 year old daughter had a significant accident involving a Flying fox and came out unscathed. the person who saw her fall thought she was dead. Miracles still happen and God is still alive and well in victoria.

jsi - The curse of the familiar comes from a General Tillsley message about the curse of familiarity. He makes a great point.

Anon - We bless the Lord for your daughter and the author of miracles.
