Anzac Day

A day to remember those who have died giving us freedom.

John 8:36 (KJV)
36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

Reading Stephen Courts take on ANZAC - it seems he really does not understand the country he is a guest in. ANZAC is not about the sacralization of violence - in fact is far from it. The funny thing is he willing to then go on to sacralize the violence of the death of Christ and revolution in his name. Graeme

Graeme, you are refering to Aaron White who shares the blog with Captain Stephen Court. His point as I understand it is obvious: we honour that people were prepared to die - that they were needed to be prepared to kill is not to be celebrated.

"A day to remember those who have died giving us freedom" does not appear to be in contradiction with these statements.
