Working it Through

Sometimes things need to be worked out. Conversation and dialogue are required to come to at least a consensus if not a solution. We can help by looking at the subject through the eyes of others and putting aside our differences.

The resolution is worth it and the open approach conveys respect to everyone involved. It is civilised and needed in this world. At least consider this perspective.

Proverbs 21:31 (TLB)
31 Go ahead and prepare for the conflict, but victory comes from God.

I am experiencing more frequently that people are not listening to one another. People are not having conversations or dialogue, rather they are having monologues with one another, just not listening to each other.

The lesson for me is to hold my tongue and open my ears, my mind, and my heart to try to actually hear what others are saying before I speak...hard to do though.
