The Corps Sargent Major of the Hobart, Tasmania Corps is Tony Foster. Since we've been in the territory and going to Tasmania, we are regularly blessed by the Tony's faithful service and constant witness. His example of Salvationism is exemplary and Christlike. If you want to be a leader in the corps, pay attention to CSM Tony Foster, a hero.
Loved ones, there are heroes among us. Pay attention...and maybe let them know how they are reflecting the glory of God. Hallelujah!
1 Peter 2:12 (MSG)
12 Live an exemplary life among the natives so that your actions will refute their prejudices. Then they'll be won over to God's side and be there to join in the celebration when he arrives.

Tony Foster was our CSM when we were the CO's at the Hobart Corps. He was very supportive and a lovely Christian gentleman.

My grandfather, Tony Foster is everything a Christian should be and more. I love him very much and miss him terribly. He is a great assest to Hobart Corp and The Salvation Army.

As the present corps officers of the Hobart corps my wife and I want to endorse the comments made by Commissioner Knaggs. Tony has been exemplary in all ways and has been so supportive for us.
Thanks Tony
Tony Foster was also our CSM when we were COs at Hobart Citadel (1982-85). He was an exemplary local officer, deeply spiritual, visionary and very supportative. I was blessed and helped by our regular meetings to discuss corps business and to pray together. As a leading public servant in the State Government at that time, his witness was wide and effective. He and his wife, Elizabeth, set great examples for their family members, too. May God continue to bless him.
