Life blood

Flowing through your veins and arteries is your life blood. I choose to express it as life blood so as to emphasize the nature of blood. It contains and sustains life. Without it we're lost. When it is tainted, we're in trouble. It carries oxygen, nourishment healing and much more.

Jesus shed His blood for you, me, and everyone on the cross of calvary. His blood covers our sins and makes us right before God, who loves us and who judges us. Eternity is one of the realities in the balance based upon His provision and our hope and love in Him. This is life blood.

Romans 3:25 (NLT)
25 For God presented Jesus as the sacrifice for sin. People are made right with God when they believe that Jesus sacrificed his life, shedding his blood. This sacrifice shows that God was being fair when he held back and did not punish those who sinned in times past,

Your thoughts are always expressed with such concise depth and persuasive faith. Thank you for your continued ministry! I don't comment all the time, but I read all of your posts and am always encouraged.

It is a privilege to be able to get to know different corps, soldiers, heros, collegues and locations through your brief updates. It is apparent that people are very important to you.
Your heros always expose values you honor and praise - you are a positive person with encouragement at your core.

It is inspirational to know that the people around you are made stronger by your continual positive encouragement.

Continue to be a spiritual stamina builder for your leaders and soldiers.

It is also fantastic to know that there is another day - you meet tomorrow before we do, and it is reassuring to know that there is another day given as a gift from God.

We continue to pray for you and the ministry you share with so many devoted and inspired Christians. Praise God from whom all blessings flow.

I love the post today, life blood has been in my mind for some time and I have been thinking that in a similar fashion, that "PRAYER" is the lifeblood of every church and every Christian. That without prayer flowing in our corps we have no life, that the prayer-lifeblood carries power and healing and nourishment as you have stated for our physical bodies, so it is for our spiritual body(so to speak) I think its a real encouragement to be reminded that without our blood flowing we are simply, dead... and the same without prayer in our is myhope that more Christians will be alive in church by being part of corporate prayer.

bless you today Commish.

Thank you for your thoughts today. Life blood is so vital for us both physically and spiritually. Without the blood of Christ none of us would have life in all its fulness. Like the previous commentor I also believe that prayer needs to be the life blood of our Corps life and at the core of our ministry. We must seek God's guidance in everything we do otherwise it becomes self glorifying instead of God glorifying. God bless you
