The Salvation Army basketball programme (SABAV) enjoyed their championship games tonight. We were there for much of it and enjoyed every minute. Congratulations on all who participated.
The essence of a good team is the team itself. Basketball is helped by an individual's effort, but a good team will always succeed beyond the individual.
Why not team up to bring others to Christ? Although not a game, there's a principle here that just might help.

According to Billy Graham, people of all faiths, or of no faith, may end up in heaven. Here is a quote from the man himself:
"What God is doing today is calling people out of the world for His name. Dave, I think your first statement subtly misses Graham's intent:

I think you mean 'religion' as opposed to 'faith.' The point of the Billy Graham quote seems to be that God doesn't care what religion we are, so long as we turn to him in faith. It is through Christ we come to the Father, not Christianity.
Obviously, Billy Graham could not imagine that God would be so unjust as to send people to hell merely because they had never heard the gospel.
Do you think such people are able to deduce the Gospel message from observing the external world or from "first principles"?
Scripture alone and faith alone: the Roman Catholics don't think so. Are you saying your version of the Christian faith is more accurate or better in some way than that taught by the Roman Catholic Church?

My perspective isn't that important. We do, however, depend on the Bible for our direction and understanding of God.
