Caring for Others

This becomes a natural outcome of a life in Christ. Out of the overflowing heart where Jesus dwells, concern for others is a joy. The joy is found in the satisfaction that the caring act is service to God.

How could we serve the Creator? In itself it's almost unfathomable. We do, however, become His hands, arms, feet etc... How does God show that He cares to the world today? Through His children...us. Enjoy the responsibility.

Psalms 2:11 (NIV)
11 Serve the Lord with fear and rejoice with trembling.

Came across this wonderful quote from general William Booth, "But who is to go ( today )? You who read this; who else is there to go?...You are saved. You say your sins are forgiven, & that you belong to the family of God. You say the promises apply to you; why not the commands? Have one & shirk the other? Never, never, never! They are untied. Do not say you are a child & not a servant. You must go yourself. This is a personal call which comes down through the centuries to you! You cannot evade it & remain true to your self & your God."
