Sorting It Out

Sometimes when we have been engaged in a project or a system, we come to the point that we need to sort it out. That is, stepping back, reviewing the issues, re-prioritising, organising in such a way as to move in a constructive, measurable direction, and then taking the steps.

I do this every once in a while with my work, my family and my life. It becomes an important process to me and gives fresh impetus to serve the Lord with excellence, energy and great hope.

Matthew 25:32 (MSG)
32 Then all the nations will be arranged before him and he will sort the people out, much as a shepherd sorts out sheep and goats,

Have you flow-charted it? Have it clearly documented in a procedures manual so you don't leave out any steps. Also, someone else can take it over when you're not available.

Bureaucracy - where would we be without it?
