Caring

You can tell when someone cares for you, can't you. There are those who seem to walk by you without reference. It feels rotten to be ignored.

So let's make certain that our witness to the presence of God in our lives is marked by love seen by the way we care. I saw a friend today giving loving care to his wife who is suffering from a disabling disease. He made me proud to know him and to recognise this powerful grace between them.

Caring? it's one of the best qualities of the children of God.

Romans 6:19 (MSG)
19 I'm using this freedom language because it's easy to picture. You can readily recall, can't you, how at one time the more you did just what you felt like doing—not caring about others, not caring about God—the worse your life became and the less freedom you had? And how much different is it now as you live in God's freedom, your lives healed and expansive in holiness?

Showing how much we care because of God's expansive holiness - a great word today!
Thank you for the detailed reminder to realy show how much we care. Its exceptionally easy to get busy or distracted, or not even register recognition (like being more involved in the ipod playlist than the people around us.) It is good to SHOW how much we care - it makes a difference.
Have a great day!
