No Connections

No connections, no blog. The absence of connections creates a vacuum that perils relationships and signals of life. I've been in that zone for a few days, but am now reconnected and grateful. I was beginning to go through a sort of withdrawal.

Praying with my nephew-son today, we both asked God for His help in connecting with Him. We acknowledge our inadequacy in the disconnect mode and recognise our need for His help to be joined together. Thank you, Lord, that you're love is demonstrated in your interest. Hallelujah!

Psalms 22:5 (MSG)
5 they cried for your help and you gave it; they trusted and lived a good life.

TC,
I hope we can all connect with the people of Kenya right now. I just have this urgent need to pray for the country where 80% are Christian. The media has reported violence erupting over accusations of a rigged election, but there is so much more at stake. There are reports that the opposition leader had made a secret deal to implement Sharia Law within 6 months if he had been elected.

He was defeated narrowly, and now he is claiming that the election was rigged and the rioting has begun. There are hundreds dead, people attacked whilst hiding in Church. The violence is terrible, and the people must be suffering so much mental and physical stress.

Can I use your blog to call for prayer for the people of Kenya?

Thank you,
Julie

As someone who visited Kenya and made a number of new friends there last year, I have been greatly disturbed at the violence that has been occurring there lately. The deal which Julie mentioned has been highly debated with 2 differing versions of the MOU, claims of forgery and much denial going on from all sides. Whatever the truth is, all the people of certainly Kenya need our prayers at this time.
