Camberwell Corps

Sunday morning meeting at the Camberwell Corps is a sacred experience. In summer (for the month of January), they have consolidated their two morning meetings into one that was a blessing. Major Darvin Carpenter gave the message in fine form and Christine Dalziel presented the gospel truths in a scriptural reflective moment. She too was superb in her presentation and challenge to the congregation.

This is a solid corps to visit or to soldier at. They know how to make you feel welcome and the worship is most appropriate. If you're in the neighborhood, stop by whether it's on a Sunday or not. They have plenty to do through the week.

Revelation 15:4 (NIV)
4 Who will not fear you, O Lord, and bring glory to your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous acts have been revealed."

hey,
this past weekend was the first EVER Worship Arts Convocation. It was a very awesome weekend. We had Colonel Redhead (an awesome speaker!), Major Munn, Phil Laeger, Peggy Thomas, TAM, Laura Danette, a "delegates band", a group called Friends of the Groom who are a group from another church that travel around and do dramatic presentations. IT WAS AMAZING. I learned so much about all the different styles of worship. We had different workshops on Saturday about different worship styles and how to start a group and so on. Then the Saturday night meeting we talked about Community, Excellence, Authenticity and Perseverance. I could go on forever talking about it, but I won't. I am very blessed to be apart of the Eastern Territory. :)
Hope everything is going well down under!
praying for you guys.
love,
Allison
