Commissioner, thanks.

Connections was, and is, a great time and there were many forms of connections made over the conference.
It was pleasing to see the building almost full on Sunday. Although there was only a few present from our Corps, the Sunday morning was streamed in after the normal meeting from about 10.30am and some stayed to the end.
I was personally pleased, that you were able to lead Connections as Soldiers and friends are connecting with a dream worth living.
Hallelujah!!!

Commissioner

Why has it taken so long for the Army in this part of the world to put on such a fantastic weekend?

It's been too long .... I am a proud father of three boys’, the oldest nearly thirteen years old who said to me "Dad I didn't know there were so many Salvos".

It bought a tear to my eye when I saw the response Friday night and again on Sunday morning to the appeal for prayer. My tears were of joy but also sadness (and I hope I am wrong) but was this outpouring at the mercy seat a reflection that the spiritual needs of our people are not being met in the local corps? Even back in the day’s of congress and maybe this is a reflection of how long it’s been but; I don’t recall ever seeing a response like that of the weekend just past.

Congratulations to all who took part and especially to the many who contributed to the organisation well done guys. It was a wonderful experience to see the Army Flag flying high, on mass in the centre of this great city but most of all, to have the precious name of JESUS praised and lifted on high.

God Bless

Commissioners Jim and Carolyn

Thank you for an amazing 4 days of God inspired vision and challenge. It was a great time and we appreciate your hard work and those in your team. Praise God for the 29 commissioned officers! I was excited to see so many salvos enthusiastic about God's mission. I pray that this will continue as we go back to our homes, and we will see The Salvation Army blessed because we have been faithful to God's calling.
God bless you and God bless The Salvation Army!

Thank you for your words of affirmation and glory to God.

I believe the response of the people to the Spirit of God is the unqualified work of God.
