Youth Tick Walk

Intended to show support for youth who are a credit to Melbourne, this march was organised to take place today with the delegates of the Insane event. I couldn't make it, but wonder how it went. Let me know.

God bless our young people.

Psalm 71:17 (MSG)
17 You got me when I was an unformed youth, God, and taught me everything I know. Now I'm telling the world your wonders;

It went great with a really positive vibe we had our 619 delegates there & I would suggest about 1800 did the walk in total

The whole walk and concert went really well. Brendan and the 614 team did a great job of marshalling everyone, Lord Mayor Doyle and Minister Pyke led the march with Majors Barnard and Nottle and the Victoria Police encouraged and supported the whole event. The speeches at Fed Square were short, appropriate and well received and the bands really popular. A very positive signal about celebrating our youth was sent in a visible and public way for The Salvation Army. Great job Brendan, 614 team and many friends and connections! Nikki

Comission James Knaggs can i just state firstly that i was one of the delegates who attended Insane 2009 and loved it. You have a wonderful team over east in the 2Love department.

The youth Tick walk was great fun and i actually enjoyed it. I felt god's presence over all us youth throughout the event and i am glad god has made a change in my life.
