Tonight in Ivanhoe, the Melbourne Staff Band and The Idea of North gave a Christmas Concert to a house full of appreciative attenders. We came to the night concert. There was also one in the afternoon. The Band was superb as usual under the baton of B/m Ken Waterworth.
The Idea of North is an acapella quartet of extraordinary quality and musicianship. Two women and two men make up the group that is absolutely top shelf. I understand they've been performing as a group for over ten years.
The Christmas music is a delight and worth listening to every word. There's great theology in the carols.
